We are sad to report that bestselling children's author and
illustrator, and the creator of Baby Llama, Anna Dewdney, has passed away at the
age of 50 following a battle with brain cancer.
Anna's career began with illustrating a number of children's
chapter books and led to publishing Llama, Llama Red Pajama, her first
picture book that she both authored and illustrated in 2005. This book led her
to write a series with over 10 titles that has sold more than 10 million
copies.
